Elizabeth City will host the N.C. Potato Festival from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The festival will feature food, arts and crafts, contests, live entertainment and amusement rides.
Music and water festival
The 20th annual Edenton Music and Water Festival will be held Friday and Saturday. Friday events will include a sunset paddle at 6:30 p.m. at Queen Anne Park. Saturday’s events, including craft and food vendors, a wooden boat exhibit and music, start at Colonial Park at 10 a.m.
Sound Shore open studio
Edenton Potter, Frank Miglorie, will open his pottery studio to the public Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 1222 Sound Shore Drive in Edenton.

Camden Boy Scout Troop 158 will hold a pancake breakfast fundraiser in the Shiloh Baptist Church fellowship hall at 952 N.C. Highway 343 South, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Donations accepted.

Marvel Comics display
Pasquotank Library will host a display of Marvel graphic novels, movies, and memorabilia. Also the film, “Black Panther” will be screened at 11:30 a.m. Refreshments will be served.
The Pasquotank Extension Master Gardeners will provide gardening demonstrations at the Downtown Waterfront Market at 10 a.m.
Dance Fit classes
Arts of the Albemarle hosts Dance Fit classes featuring Quinn Wolff for students ages 12 and older every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. through Saturday, June 30. Classes are $10 per session. No registration required.

Mustang spring jam
Bearded Face Productions presents the 7th Annual Mustang Spring Jam at 12:30 p.m. at Mike Dianna’s Grill Room, located in the Timbuck II Shopping Village in Corolla. $25 in advance and $30 day of show. Children 12 and under are free. A very limited number of advance only VIP tickets are also available for $99.
