Bearded Face Productions presents the 7th Annual Mustang Spring Jam at 12:30 p.m. at Mike Dianna’s Grill Room, located in the Timbuck II Shopping Village in Corolla. $25 in advance and $30 day of show. Potato festival

Walk toward awareness

Pre-registration is underway for the 5th Annual Walk Toward Awareness “Stepping Out Against Elder Abuse” sponsored by The Albemarle Commission’s Area Agency on Aging. Science camp

Pre-registration is underway for the Northeast District 4-H Science Camp. Deadline to pre-register is May 15. Camp will be held July 15 through July 18. This is for youth ages 12 to 18. This year NC Cooperative Extension will offer a national award winning program known as My Preparedness Initiative (MyPI NC). This innovative three part program, focused on Emergency Preparedness and Leadership empowers NC Teens to engage their families, their peers, and their communities in disaster readiness and response.
