Response to poll on Moore was disappointing

I am writing this letter to say that I was somewhat astonished when I read the “Web Poll Results” from Monday, Nov. 20 to the following question: “If you were an Alabama voter would you vote for the U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore in the state’s Dec. 12 elections? I was taken aback by the fact that 46 percent of the those who were polled voted “YES”! I am genuinely stunned that so many people on the Northeastern North Carolina area have such a lack of discernment.

I, as a Christian moderate, do not see Roy Moore as my champion. I see  him as a hypocrite who acts as if he is perplexed by homosexual marriage for the sake of being a so-called “ champion for right”!

I consider sexual molestation (or even “consensual” sexual activity) with a naive minor teen-aged child to be just as (or more) perverted as two adult men (or two adult women) having sexual relations. I agree with the Republican Sen. Richard Shelby that I would rather write-in someone rather than vote for Moore. In my opinion, Moore can NOT be trusted to wholeheartedly obey the by-laws of being a U.S. Senator.

Quite frankly, God will come to help those who gladly do right and who remember all of His commandments and not just some who condemn people who are different. I firmly believe that the sinful, self-righteous attitude of Alabama Christian conservatives makes Jesus Christ heart-broken. All of the self-righteous acts of all corrupted Alabama conservatives are like filthy, germ-infested rags. Nevertheless, if all stubborn-hearted “Christian” conservatives who are now far from the righteous of Christ will truly listen to the Holy Spirit, Jesus will bring His righteousness to them and God’s Salvation will not be delayed.
