With respect for religion gone, no wonder kids in trouble

I just finished reading the column by Walter Williams about guns. He really got to the point. Wake up, America!

OK, back in our school days, we were raised differently. Going to school was a real privilege. All students met in the auditorium each morning to pledge allegiance to our flag, quote the Lord’s Prayer and the Ten Commandments. 

Now that prayer has been taken out of our schools, think about all the trouble our young people are in. Some never hear the word of God, except in disrespect of his name. If you really love your child make them mind you for their own good.

Oh, I know there are a lot of bad parents. They will have to suffer the consequences for that and answer to God for it.
