Vote to confirm Kavanaugh vote for constitutional democracy

Wednesday, August 1, 2018

President Trump’s nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court, Brett Kavanaugh, is committed to upholding the U.S. Constitution. Based on his service as a federal judge, it is clear that he understands his role of faithfully interpreting the law, as opposed to legislating from the bench.

Returning legislative power to Congress is returning power to the people. The most important decisions facing our nation should be decided by the people instead of a panel of nine judges.

A vote for Kavanaugh is not a vote for or against any specific policy, but a vote to allow constitutional democracy to work as intended by our founders.
