Statute of limitations should be changed for sex crimes

Thursday, August 30, 2018

I strongly believe that the statute of limitations for sexual crimes should be eliminated in every state in America.

It was simply shocking to hear and read that a Pennsylvania grand jury found that 1,000 innocent children were sexually abused by 300 wayward Catholic priests for over a period of 70 years in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and it was all covered up by the long-robed church officials.

Soulkilling, isn’t it? And the most regrettable thing is that all the cases are too old to be prosecuted. So the wolves in shepherd’s clothing walk free. How evil. How sinful!

Truly, there must be a special place in purgatory for church leaders who put their institution before innocent, helpless children.
