Giuliani's 'truth' claim should anger Trump's base

Do you remember the original "wild and crazy guy," Steve Martin? He is highly skilled in using words — to amuse, not to injure.
I think Martin majored in philosophy in college, so he might partly agree with the claim by President Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani that "there is no objective truth."
Mr. Trump's base, however, should be angered by Giuliani’s claim, because it contradicts the belief that God is absolute truth. What Giuliani should have said is this: "Nobody knows what absolute truth is, or even whether it is at all."
