If you don't think the invasion of our southern border hasn't changed American culture then you haven't shopped at Walmart recently. Entire aisles are dedicated to Mexican food and things that come with instructions in Spanish and English. And if the U.S. House of Representatives refuses to wake up it’s going to find itself in a cataclysmic catastrophe of its own making.

U.S. Rep Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., sees a lot of humor in blocking the president's initiatives by bringing a bucket of Kentucky Fried Chicken and other childish things to the podium to mock Attorney General William Barr’s refusal to show up for a House Judiciary Committee hearing. Mr. Barr took a lot of abuse on his first appearance before the committee and decided to opt out this time.

What will it take to wake up our representatives in Congress to act as responsible adults? We are being inundated at the border by hordes of immigrants from everywhere and they won't lift a finger to stop it.

The Monroe Doctrine is no more. China owns the Panama Canal from end to end, Russia and Cuba and others are solidly based throughout South America. Doubtless Russia is provoking the Venezuelan meltdown and we need to get involved quickly but the president is distracted by an AWOL Congress that’s too busy to be concerned for the country.
