What keeps your love strong? Tell us for Valentine's Day
From staff reports
Saturday, January 12, 2019
It’s never too soon — or too late — to think about love, and we’re expecting plenty of heart-felt competition for this year’s “Best Valentine Story” contest.
For this year’s contest, which begins next week, we are asking couples to tell us how they keep their love fresh and strong.
We invite you to tell us your story. The best will be rewarded with a nice Valentines prize package, including a night out to dinner and other gifts.
The Daily Advance will be accepting entries for our “Best Valentine Story” contest Friday through Wednesday, Feb. 6. Entries should be between 75 and 150 words. A panel of “love experts” will determine the winner.
Entries may be emailed to email@example.com; by mail, send entries to: Best Valentine Story, News Department, The Daily Advance, P.O. Box 588, Elizabeth City, NC 27909. Entries may also be brought directly to our office at 215 S. Water Street in Elizabeth City during business hours. Make sure to include your full name, address and phone and email contact information. For questions, call 335-8109.
Winning entries and runners-up will be posted on-line and printed in the Feb. 14 — Valentines Day — edition of The Daily Advance.
