SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) -- Kobie Taylor homered twice, scoring three runs while also driving in three as the Spokane Indians beat the Boise Hawks 10-0 in the second game of a doubleheader on Sunday.
Andretty Cordero homered and singled with two RBIs for Spokane.
In the bottom of the first, Spokane scored seven runs, including a two-run home run by Cordero and a solo home run by Taylor. The Indians then added two runs in the fourth and a run in the sixth. In the fourth, Taylor hit a two-run home run, while Cristian Inoa hit an RBI single, scoring Taylor in the sixth.
Spokane starter Reiver Sanmartin (1-0) picked up the win after scattering six hits over five scoreless innings. Opposing starter Luis Guzman (0-1) took the loss in the Northwest League game after allowing seven runs and five hits over one inning.
The teams split the doubleheader after Boise won the first game 3-1.
