LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- Edward Olivares hit a walk-off single with one out in the ninth inning, as the Lansing Lugnuts topped the Lake County Captains 7-6 on Saturday.

Rodrigo Orozco scored the game-winning run after he led off the inning with a double and advanced to third on a hit batsman.

The Lugnuts scored three runs in the seventh before Lake County answered in the next half-inning when Junior Soto hit a solo home run to tie the game 6-6.

Lansing starter Patrick Murphy allowed five runs and seven hits over six innings. He also struck out five and walked three. Geno Encina (4-2) got the win in relief while Alsis Herrera (4-2) took the loss in the Midwest League game.

Nash Knight doubled twice and singled, driving in two runs in the win.

For the Captains, Gabriel Mejia singled twice, scoring two runs.
