GREAT FALLS, Mont. (AP) -- Chris Comito allowed just four hits over six innings, leading the Great Falls Voyagers over the Orem Owlz in a 6-3 win on Thursday.

Comito (2-3) picked up the win after he struck out six and walked two while allowing three runs.

Great Falls started the scoring in the second inning when Adam McGinnis hit a solo home run.

Trailing 5-1, the Owlz cut into the deficit in the sixth inning when Francisco Del Valle hit an RBI single and Nonie Williams scored on a fielder’s choice.

The Voyagers tacked on another run in the eighth when Ian Dawkins hit an RBI single, scoring Travis Moniot.

Cole Duensing (0-4) went four innings, allowing four runs and four hits in the Pioneer League game. He also struck out two and walked four. Bennett Sousa recorded his fourth save of the season.

Great Falls took advantage of some erratic Orem pitching, drawing a season-high six walks in its victory.
