DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Kevin Josephina, Kurt Hoekstra, Isranel Wilson and Jordan Rodgers recorded three hits each, as Florida beat the Daytona Tortugas 11-1 on Thursday.

Josephina singled four times, driving home four runs. Hoekstra homered and singled twice, scoring two runs.

Up 2-0 in the seventh, Florida extended its lead when Josephina hit a two-run single.

Daytona answered in the bottom of the inning when Bruce Yari hit an RBI single, bringing home Taylor Trammell to cut the deficit to three.

The Fire Frogs later added two runs in the eighth and five in the ninth to punctuate the blowout.

Florida southpaw Tucker Davidson (6-6) picked up a quality start and the win after allowing one run on just two hits over six innings. Opposing starter Andrew Jordan (1-1) took the tough loss in the Florida State League game after giving up two runs and nine hits over five innings.
