RENO, Nev. (AP) -- Cesar Puello hit a two-run single in the third inning, leading the Salt Lake Bees to an 11-9 win over the Reno Aces on Tuesday. The Bees swept the four-game series with the win.

The single by Puello came in the midst of a five-run inning and gave the Bees a 4-2 lead. Later in the inning, Wilfredo Tovar hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Jarrett Parker.

Trailing 7-3, the Aces tied the game with four runs in the fifth inning, including a two-run single by Caleb Joseph.

The Bees took the lead for good in the seventh when Matt Thaiss scored on an error.

Reno saw its comeback attempt come up short after Abraham Almonte scored on a groundout and Kevin Cron hit an RBI single in the eighth to cut the Salt Lake lead to 11-9.

Jake Jewell (2-2) got the win in relief while Matt Koch (0-1) took the loss in the Pacific Coast League game.

Cron was a triple short of the cycle, driving home three runs and scoring a couple for the Aces. Ildemaro Vargas homered and singled, scoring two runs.
