Robbery of teen probed

Elizabeth City police are investigating after a teenager reported being held up at gunpoint at a residence earlier this week.
The 18-year-old was robbed about 8:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of Tatem Lane, a police incident report states.
The robber, armed with a handgun, took $50 in cash and a cellphone worth approximately $400, the report states.
Police Lt. Larry James said he had no further information about the case on Thursday.
