CAMDEN — Two Camden County men are being held at Albemarle District Jail following their arrests on drug-related charges at a routine traffic checking station.
Odell Francis Gaymon, 26, of the 100 block of Herman Arnold Road, and Wayne Antonio Lee II, 24, of the 300 block of Ivy Neck Road, are charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana, Sheriff Tony Perry said in a press release Tuesday.
Gaymon and Lee are also charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance — the anti-anxiety drug Xanax — and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
Perry said Gaymon and Lee were arrested while deputies were conducting a motor vehicle checking station on Lambs Road. The marijuana confiscated from the two men had a street value of approximately $300, Perry said.
Gaymon and Lee are each being held in lieu of $1,500 secured bond. They’re due in Camden District Court on Dec. 1.
