Elizabeth City police are seeking two additional suspects in connection with the robbery and shooting of a city man last week.

Warrants have been obtained for the arrests of Rasheen Raymond Williams and Rodney Wayne Stokley Jr. for their alleged roles in the robbery and shooting Dec. 11 of Jordan Baeza of the 100 block of Raintree Tree Run.

Williams, 28, of the 1500 block of North Road Street, and Stokley, 28, of the 900 block of First Street, are wanted on charges of assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill inflicting serious injury, armed robbery and first-degree kidnapping, a police press release stated Tuesday. Both Williams and Stokley are considered armed and dangerous, the release said.

A third man has already been charged in Baeza’s shooting.

Damon Shy’quay Williams, 23, of the 600 block of Massachusetts Ave., Elizabeth City, was arrested Thursday on the same charges Williams and Stokley are now facing. He remains at Albemarle District Jail, where he was being held in lieu of a $250,000 secured bond.

According to police, Baeza, 27, was shot near his residence shortly before 8 p.m. on Dec. 11. Suffering a gunshot to the back, he was first driven by a friend to Sentara Albemarle Medical Center and later airlifted by helicopter to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

A Sentara spokesman listed Baeza's condition Tuesday as good.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Williams or Stokley is asked to call police at 335-4321 or contact Crime Line at 335-5555.
