On September of 2015, Albemarle School’s K-12 enrollment population was 81; current enrollment, as of Sept. 6, is 157. More students are enrolled in the 6th -12th grades now than were in the entire school only two years ago.

Albemarle School has the maximum number of students the school allows in both Kindergarten and 6th grade.

“We want to keep the class sizes small to make sure every student gets the attention he or she deserves and needs,” explains Headmaster Holly Glenn. “We still have limited capacity in other classrooms, so students and parents are invited to visit our campus at any time.”

She said parents report that their children look forward to going to school in the morning.

“Parents are confident that their children are cared for and are receiving a quality, excellent education in a very comfortable atmosphere,” Glenn said. “We have an unbelievable teaching staff.. I am continuously impressed with the engaging, rigorous instruction that occurs in the classrooms.”
