Students explore ways to use Makey Makey
From staff reports
Tuesday, October 10, 2017
Students in Michelle Chappell’s 5th grade class are beginning to explore creative invention through the use of Makey Makey. Makey Makey is a collaborative project between Jay Silver and Eric Rosenbaum of the MIT Media Lab, and SparkFun Electronics. It's an invention kit that encourages people to find creative ways to interact with their computers, by using everyday objects as a replacement for keyboards and mice.
The students are getting familiar with the program currently, but will soon be creating their own games. This project will serve as an introduction to coding. More information on Makey Makey can be found at https://www.makeymakey.com/.
