Camden County Schools: Students learn about crops, animals on Ag Day

On Tuesday, Nov. 21st, third-grade students at Grandy Primary School attended the Annual Wake Up to Agriculture Day sponsored by the Future Farmers of America organizations at Northeastern High School and Camden County High School.

Ted and Roberta Manzer, FFA teachers at Northeastern High School in Elizabeth City, coordinate this event every year. Hollie Schratwieser, ag Teacher, and her FFA students from Camden County High School assisted with the event. The event is open to third grade students from Elizabeth City-Pasquotank Schools and Camden County Schools and highlights animal husbandry, crops of the Albemarle Region as well as wildlife management in our area.
