Camden students compete at district DECA contest

Camden County High School students traveled to Greenville to compete at the District DECA Competition with award-winning results.

The students who attended were recognized for proficiency in various events. Nicole Osborne, Kylee Sawyer, and Jayda Wimple were district finalists. Sarah Edmondson was an exam finalist, district finalist and placed 3rd in the district for Apparel and Accessories Marketing. Anthony Cordy was an exam finalist, role-play finalist, district finalist, and placed 2nd in the district for Sports and Entertainment Marketing.

DECA is a student organization designed for marketing students to become emerging leaders. ​​The events in which they competed include; Apparel and Accessories Marketing, Principles of Marketing, Sports and Entertainment Marketing, Entrepreneurship Team Decision Making, and Sports and Entertainment Marketing Team Decision Making.
