Scholarships applications now being accepted

N.C. Extension & Community Association, Inc. offers educational scholarships to North Carolina youth and adults who are pursuing a college education in North Carolina. The purpose of the scholarship is to assist students in obtaining a degree at any North Carolina college, in any field of study, with priority given to Family and Consumer Sciences related field.
Each of the five North Carolina Cooperative Extension districts award two $800 scholarships, one youth and one adult. In addition Currituck County is offering a $250 Scholarship to Currituck County residents.

Delta Kappa Gamma
Pi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma is offering a $500 scholarship to a female college student majoring in education who lives in local area counties (Perquimans, Chowan, Camden, Currituck, or Pasquotank). The student must be a junior, senior or graduate student. The deadline for submission of an application is March 1. Contact Claudia Twiford at 252-339-2827 for an application.
