The art work of a Camden County High School student will be permanently displayed at The North Carolina Department Of Instruction Building In Raleigh
The art work is by Lacey Boatright, a junior at Camden County High School and a member of the National Art Honor Society.
She has demonstrated her talents in digital arts and spends a lot of her free time working to perfect her talent. While in Art 2, she has focused on expanding her artistic horizons with painting. The result is that she has achieved much success. That includes having one of her pieces of art selected to be part of a permanent collection at the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction building in Raleigh. This permanent display is part of the State Superintendents Arts Initiative to recognize student artists and to encourage participation in all of the arts throughout the state.
The Camden County Board of Education “Spotlighted” Lacey on having her art work permanently displayed in Raleigh at their May 10 board meeting.
