ECSU volleyball loses two matches in Rocky Mount

ROCKY MOUNT — The Elizabeth City State women’s volleyball team lost two matches at North Carolina Wesleyan Wednesday.

ECSU lost to Piedmont International in three sets, while falling to North Carolina Wesleyan 25-12, 21-25, 25-12, 25-13.

Kaylee Williams led the Lady Vikings with seven kills, Alexis Blackwell had 14 digs and D’Aysa Wilson had 11 digs.

ECSU won its first set of the season against the Battling Bishops.

Callie Cline posted a team-high 12 kills in the win for Wesleyan (2-4).
