MACU men's basketball earns first win over Regent University

The Mid-Atlantic Christian men's basketball team defeated Regent University (Va.) 73-68 Tuesday evening at Chesson Gym.

Garfield Brown scored a game-high 26 points with four assists, while Greg Bloodsworth added 20 points in the win.

The Mustangs (1-6) overcame a 10 point Regent lead.

Noah Pannell led Regent with 15 points.

MACU returns to action Dec. 12 at the Apprentice School.


Regent 50, MACU 45: The Lady Mustangs (2-4) fell to the Royals Tuesday evening at Chesson Gym.

Baleigh Lambert led MACU with 12 points, while Talethia Alexander followed with 11 points.

Jocelyn Reyes scored a game-high 27 points with 17 rebounds for Regent in the win.

The Lady Mustangs face Johnson & Wales-Charlotte on the road Friday evening.
