The Mid-Atlantic Christian men's basketball team lost to Stratford University (Va.) 86-51 in an EMAC contest in Virginia.

Colin Cunningham led MACU (2-20, 1-9 EMAC) with 12 points, Malik Galloway followed with seven points, 10 rebounds and three blocks.

MACU trailed 45-20 at halftime.

Stratford (18-3, 6-1 EMAC) had four players score 10 or more points in the win.

Ron Davis led the Cardinals with 16 points and 10 rebounds, Keon Turner followed with 14 points, five rebounds and four assists off the bench in the win.


The Mid-Atlantic Christian women's basketball team lost to Regent 80-59 Tuesday at Chesson Gym.

Imani Simmons led MACU (3-13) with 24 points, eight rebounds and four steals, Talethia Alexander followed with 12 points and five rebounds.

Alexander made all four shots from behind the 3-point line.

KaNesha Murray posted eight points and 13 rebounds.

Regent held a 29 point lead in the second half.

Jocelyn Reyes led Regent with 27 points, eight rebounds and six steals, Phoebe Vlk followed with 25 points, and seven rebounds, while Camille Small posted 19 points and 10 rebounds.
