Currituck hosts tennis camp

Currituck Tennis is hosting a tennis camp for children, teenagers and adults of all ages at the Currituck County High School tennis courts June 10 – 14.
Cost is $50.
Classes are from Monday through Thursday.
Friday is reserved as a rain date.
Students can participate either in the morning or evening sessions.
Morning sessions begin at 8:30 a.m., while evening sessions begin at 6:30 p.m.
Sessions for children age 10 and under will last 90 minutes, while those age 11 years old and older will take part in two-hour sessions.
Currituck County High School tennis coach Vic Ramsey will lead the morning session, while First Flight High School tennis coach Tony Willingham will lead the evening sessions.
Current and former members of the Currituck County High School tennis program will assist during the sessions.
Newcomers to the sport will be taught the basics of tennis, while intermediate and advanced players will receive instruction based on individual needs.
Participants may bring their own racquet, but racquets will be available to those who don't have one.
It is encouraged that participants wear tennis shoes, dress in appropriate athletic clothing and bring a water bottle and towel.
