CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Six people in Charlotte have been sentenced to prison for their roles in a theft ring that sold more than $16 million of stolen over-the-counter, health and beauty aid products.

Court documents show that from 2006 to 2011, the group bought and then sold over-the-counter medications, dietary supplements and beauty aid products at prices far below retail and wholesale prices of the stolen goods.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says four of the suspects were sentenced Thursday. Two others had been sentenced in October.

The prison sentences range from 18 months to more than 7 years in prison. The defendants have been ordered to pay more than $4 million in restitution.

The defendants pleaded guilty in June 2011 to one count of conspiracy to commit interstate transportation of stolen property.
