NASHVILLE, N.C. (AP) — A Rocky Mount man has pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter in the shooting death of his brother nearly four years ago.

The Rocky Mount Telegram reported (http://bit.ly/NNq8qL) that 35-year-old Antonio Matthews accepted a deal with prosecutors in Nashville earlier this week. Matthews was sentenced to 46 months to 65 months in prison.

Police say Matthews shot and killed 22-year-old Devin Scriven at a motel the brothers were sharing on Sept. 2, 2008.

Matthews' case was tried in 2011 but resulted in a mistrial.
