SALISBURY — A cafeteria worker at Rowan Regional Medical Center has been charged with taking more than $6,400 from the cash register.

The Salisbury Post reports that police have charged 23-year-old Jamey Lynese Price with felony larceny by employee.

Hospital officials said that video showed Price ringing up customers and then voiding the transaction and pocketing the money. Officials say she took about $200 a week.

It was not clear if Price has an attorney.
