RUMNEY, N.H. (AP) — The search is continuing in New Hampshire for a missing North Carolina man.

Police say 72-year-old Hugh Armstrong of Clayton, N.C., was last seen on Wednesday morning in the Hawthorne Village Area near Stinston Lake in the town of Rumney. Authorities say he left around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday to walk around the lake and never returned.

Police on Thursday used a helicopter and search dogs to try to find Armstrong, who was vacationing with his family.

WMUR-TV (http://bit.ly/LQk0Ak) reports that he's described as having brown-grey hair, grey eyes and wears glasses. He's 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs about 175 pounds and was last seen wearing a white Red Sox hat and red or blue t-shirt.
