FAYETTEVILLE — Police say a 19-year-old man has been found shot to death in a road in Fayetteville.

Investigators say a large crowd was around Dashaun Kelly when officers arrived to check reports of a shooting around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities say Kelly was dead before paramedics could arrive.

Police say they are investigating the shooting as a homicide. No arrests have been made, and a motive for the shooting has not been released.
