Florida Hispanics increasingly Democratic

For the first time, the number of Hispanic Democrats in Florida is expected to exceed the number of Hispanic Republicans, the Politico reported Monday.

The story says that the Florida secretary of state is expected to release the latest numbers this week.

“The significance of the numerical flip is mostly symbolic, but it’s a powerful symbol at a key moment: Quietly, Democrats are debating whether to mount a full-out, expensive challenge to Sen. John McCain, the presumptive Republican nominee, in Florida,” Politico says.

The reason the number of Hispanic Democrats in Florida is expected to exceed the number of Hispanic Republicans is the latest batch aren’t looking to see what they can do to strengthen America while bettering their lives, they’re just looking to DemocRats for what they can get out of our USA, for free.

In Texas one Illegal Alien is closer to receiving a just reward for his hideously murderous actions.

A state district judge in Houston on set the lethal injection date for 33-year-old Jose Medellin for his role in the rape-slayings of two teenage girls 15 years ago.

In March, the U.S. Supreme Court voted against hearing the case of Medellin, saying President Bush overstepped his authority by trying to order Texas to reopen his case and the cases of 50 others born in Mexico and condemned for murders in the U.S.’]

(continued) The honorable Sen. McCain RINO from AZ isn’t about to let hispanic votes slip from his grasping fingers, just to make up for the patriotic voters he’s chasing away. This article indicates he’s attempting to sever all ties with conservatives:

Republican presidential candidate launches Spanish campaign website

[‘WASHINGTON - Sen. John McCain, the de facto Republican presidential nominee, announced today he will attend the national convention of La Raza, a radical Hispanic lobby tied to the movement to reconquer the Southwestern U.S. that was part of Mexico before the Mexican-American War that ended in 1848.

The convention will be held in San Diego July 14.

Though La Raza bills itself as a civil rights organization, the group’s name literally means “The Race.”

La Raza was condemned in 2006 by Rep. Charles Norwood, R-Ga., as a radical “pro-illegal immigration lobbying organization that supports racist groups calling for the secession of the western United States as a Hispanic-only homeland.”

Norwood has called on La Raza to renounce its support of the Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan - which sees “The Race” as part of an ethnic group that one day will reclaim Aztlan, the mythical birthplace of the Aztecs. In Chicano folklore, Aztlan includes California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and parts of Colorado and Texas.

McCain, who steadfastly opposed efforts to build a fence along the U.S.-Mexican border and supported legislation to permit illegal aliens to remain in the U.S., also announced the launch of his campaign’s Spanish language website.

“Today, we join together to remember the sacrifice that these Mexican patriots endured, as well as the struggles of all those around the world striving for freedom,” said McCain in the statement. “We recognize as well the important friendship that exists between our country and Mexico, and celebrate the many contributions Mexican-Americans have made to our society, culture, security and economy.”’]

As for patriotic American citizens it’s better to remember the Alamo!!! Or perhaps honoring May 1st Law Day, U.S.A., 2008

The right of ordinary men and women to determine their own future, protected by the rule of law, lies at the heart of America’s founding principles. As our country celebrates the 50th anniversary of Law Day, we renew our commitment to the ideals on which this great Nation was established and to a robust system of ordered liberty.

The American legal system is central to protecting the rights and freedoms our Nation holds dear. The theme of this year’s Law Day, “The Rule of Law: Foundation for Communities of Opportunity and Equity,” recognizes the fundamental role that the rule of law plays in preserving liberty in our Nation and in all free societies. We pay tribute to the men and women in America’s legal community. Through hard work and dedication to the rule of law, members of the judiciary and the legal profession help secure the rights of individuals, bring justice to our communities, and reinforce the proud traditions that make America a beacon of light for the world.

Nearly 800 years ago, the Magna Carta placed the authority of government under the rule of law; centuries later, the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution marked tremendous advances in the march of liberty. These documents established enduring principles that guide modern democracies. Today, we are reminded of that past and look toward a hopeful future as we work to secure the liberty that is the natural right of every man, woman, and child.

On Law Day, U.S.A., our Nation celebrates our belief in the equality of each person before God and renews our commitment to strive to bring America ever closer to its founding ideals.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GEORGE W. BUSH, President of the United States of America, in accordance with Public Law 87-20, as amended, do hereby proclaim May 1, 2008, as Law Day, U.S.A. I call upon all the people of the United States to observe this day with appropriate ceremonies and activities. I also call upon Government officials to display the flag of the United States in support of this national observance.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this thirtieth day of April, in the year of our Lord two thousand eight, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and thirty-second.

The original immigrants to the Us had to have a background check, a physical, and proof they would not become a burden to our country, BEFORE they could even step foot in the country. Read up on Ellis Island. If anyone was diseased or had broken the law they could not come in. If they couldn’t prove they had a way to make a living, they couldn’t come in. And if they go into any legal trouble in the first 5 years, they were deported for good. What happened to those rules for immigrants? Oh, I forgot. That was for the “Legal” immigrants.
