U.S. Sen. Richard Burr and Congressman G.K. Butterfield were among the dignitaries on hand Wednesday for the dedication of the U.S. Coast Guard’s new multi-million-dollar rescue swimmer training facility — a pool and egress trainer that a rear admiral called a “hero factory.”
