The U.S. Navy compiled the following impact information about four possible sites for the outlying landing field in North Carolina:

Moyock — Camden County

• Homes within noise zones: 120

• Estimated residents in jet noise zones: 360

• Number of threatened and endangered wildlife species: 4

Northwest River — Camden

• Homes within noise zones: 549

• Estimated residents in jet noise zones: 1,647

• Number of threatened and endangered wildlife species: 5

Sandbanks — Gates County

• Homes within noise zones: 248

• Estimated residents in jet noise zones: 744

• Number of threatened and endangered wildlife species: 2

Old Railroad Grade — Gates

• Homes within noise zones: 191

• Estimated residents in jet noise zones: 573

• Number of threatened and endangered wildlife species: 4
