A charge of misdemeanor assault against state Rep. Bob Steinburg is scheduled to be heard in Perquimans County District Court early next month. But a state law affecting state lawmakers’ court appearances during legislative sessions could delay the case until this summer.

Why was only Pasquotank County's Super

interviewed? The least of the counties in our region are as deserving as the larger counties.

Not much is done so well it can't be improved. Listen to Mr. Steinburg.

More junk from TDA

TDA once again seeks some reason for people to read it. Please note that I do not call it a "newspaper" since it doesn't know what news really is.

First, you have an old junk article talking about a henchman for a candidate who went crying to police. This baby and his candidate knew they were losing the election and decided to resort to whatever means they could. Interestingly, they still lost.

Second, TDA once again attacks Rep. Steinburg for some comments he made during the election. They do not talk about the Representative actually meeting with school superintendents and school board members to begin to see what the districts are actually doing. And please consider that Rep. Steinburg is looking at his total district; not just Pasquotank.

IF TDA decides to print news and IF TDA will actually post my comments in the paper, then I MAY decide to resubcribe.

Hard to believe

The DA must really be hard up for news if they can't find anything else to write about but this political stunt perpetrated by loser Bill Luton and his absolutely incompetent henchman Russ Haddad and in the Sunday paper no less. We'll all just have to hold our collective breaths as we await the obvious outcome. Luton has moved to California (alone) while Haddad remains behind to watch his reputation continue to spiral downward into an abyss.
