Phyllis Bosomworth of Elizabeth City has been elected to the board of directors of the N.C. Center for Public Policy Research. Bosomworth, owner of the Long and Foster Real Estate firm, was among nine new board members elected Tuesday to the statewide 26-member board. She will serve a three-year term.
