Hesitation by BOC puts citizens safety at risk

Any hesitation on behalf of the Board of Commissioners to upgrade fire fighting equipment puts the citizens living in the Weeksville area at considerably higher risk. Substandard fire fighting equipment can also means higher cost of home owner insurance for those affected. This need for better equipment should not have to wait to be discussed in three months, it needs attention NOW! For the BOC to delay discussion of this need shows a complete lack of responsibility and poor leadership on their behalf. Citizens of this area should call their respective commissioners representing them and let them know how you feel about their poor performance.
