Civil Disobedience has been a part of the political landscape sine the beginning of this nation. The flooding in Oxford Heights is a political issue because it is a governmental agency that appears to be prohibiting the cleaning of the basin which drains the area. No governmental official's homes are threatened or flooded, thus no actions will be taken to remedy the situation. Everyone knows that the basin has and is filling in with silt every day. What is the harm in deepening and widening the main stream to preserve people's homes?
