Elizabeth City’s search for a new police building has hit a snag, following city resident James Gregory purchasing the city’s preferred site at 305 E. Main Street.

I've heard .......

that the entire top floor of the Virginia Dare apartment building is available. That would be a wonderful place for the police station. They could provide surveillance for the whole city from that lofty tower!
