I waited to write this until it was "official." Published in the Daily Advance, that these people were the latest in a long line of habitual criminals committing vicious crimes in our neighborhoods.

OK, now I can say it out loud, again. The head of the snake, the place at which the judicial problem begins and ends and can be fixed, is the office of the District Attorney.

Read through the article. How many gun felonies were reduced to misdemeanors? How many violent crimes were reduced and plead out? How many crimes that should require prison time were reduced to probation or parole? Each and every one of these decisions were made by one man, our District Attorney.

I've said before, and I'll say again, we need a new, dynamic, hungry DA who will come in, clean house, not listen to the gangsta' vote, not listen to the elitest vote, just come in with no local agenda, do the work, then run for something more important, more regional, more national and use EC as a stepping stone. Please, use us, we're happy to be the stepping stone!

I've said it and I'm tired of my own voice, so I'm going to do something. I'm going to begin speaking to groups about the the need for a new DA. I would rather take a bullet than speak to a group, but, I'll do it. It is so important.
