HERTFORD — A District Court judge Wednesday found Hertford’s police chief and a police sergeant guilty of assaulting a Perquimans County man during an altercation last year.

its about time the peices of crap that are the hertford police and perquimans sherriffs get what they deserve. they have doing things like this for years, even back when little man was the sheriff, andgetting away with it. I for one applaud mr. woodell and everyone else involved for doing the right thing and telling the truth. nate zachary, shelby white, todd tilley, and a host of current and former officers of perquimans and hertford let this be a warning. the days of being above the law in pq are coming to an end.
