They may not have won the tournament, but the Lady Pirates came in second - and took the prize for playing the most games in the annual tournament that features many of the volleyball teams in the Albemarle area. Between the start of the double-elimination event at 8 a.m. until the championship match finished around 3:30, Perquimans played six best-of-three matches, and got better as the day progressed, according to their leader.
