AWARDS

Members receive awards presented in H-60 division

Several members of the H-60 Product Line Division of the Aircraft Repair and Supply Center received awards on June 19. Achievement Medals were presented to Aviation Maintenance Technician 1st Class Christopher Blackmon and Aviation Maintenance Technician 1st Class Michael Mace. Aviation Maintenance Technician Chief John Tanis received his eighth Good Conduct Award. Shield of Freedom Pins were presented to Bill Krimmel and William Martin. Tracey Burgess was recognized for Combined Federal Campaign efforts.

HH-65 members earn awards

Several members of the HH-65 Product Line Division of the Aircraft Repair and Supply Center earned awards on June 16. James Youker earned a Shield of Freedom pin. Avionics Electrical Technician 2nd Class Andrew Felsing was recognized as a volunteer for Haunted Forest Fright Fest 2007. Thomas Culver earned a Length of Service Award for 20 years of service and William Sznakowski was recognized for five years of service. Avionics Electrical Technician 1st Class Scott Williams received a Good Conduct Award. Aviation Maintenance Technician Chief David Rauch received a Letter of Commendation. Chief Warrant Officer Michael Fannin earned a Commendation Medal. Achievement Medals were presented to Avionics Electrical Technician 2nd Class Bradford Young and Aviation Maintenance Technician 1st Class Stephen Prevatt.

Awards presented in C-130 Division

Numerous members of the C-130 Division of the Aircraft Repair and Supply Center were presented with awards? on June 18. Storekeeper 3rd Class Zynoel Gonzalez received a Good Conduct Award. Storekeeper 2nd Class David W. Woodlard earned a Letter of Commendation. Storekeeper 2nd Class Paul Talbot was honored for Volunteer Income Tax Assistance. Christine Minor received a Shield of Freedom pin. Storekeeper 1st Class Barry Hardison was recognized for Combined Federal Campaign efforts. Nine members earned Length of Service Awards. Linda W. Cartwright was honored for 35 years of service. Peter K. Thomas, Barbara W. Whitley and Charles L. Williams were honored for 30 years of service. John A. Carignan and Jackie L. White were recognized for 25 years of service. Jeffrey A. Boone and Roger D. Breeden were honored for 10 years of service and Kevin L. White was recognized for five years of service.

GRADUATION

AMT Class 73-08 Graduates

Aviation Maintenance Technician "A" School Class 78-08 graduated from the Aviation Technical Training Center on June 27. The 16 students spent the last 20 weeks learning to inspect, service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft engines, auxiliary power units, propellers, rotor systems, power train systems; aircraft bleed air, hydraulic and fuel systems. AMTs maintain aircraft fuselage, wings, rotor blades, fixed and movable flight control surfaces. Additionally, AMTs perform aircrew duties such as C-130 flight engineer, loadmaster, drop master, HU-25 drop master, and HH-60J and HH-65 flight mechanic.
