Ashton Ballance and Brandon Cartwright of Elizabeth City announce the birth of their daughter, Briley Ray Cartwright at Albemarle Hospital on June 10, 2009. She weighed 7 pounds and 8 ounces and was 19 1/2 inches long.
The maternal grandparents are Deann and Terry Boyce of Elizabeth City.
The paternal grandparents are Stephanie and Daniel Cartwright of Elizabeth City.
The maternal great-grandparents are Glenda White, William (Nip) White and Mildred Ballance, all of Elizabeth City and the late Cary Ballance.
The paternal great-grandparents are Shirley Oakley, Robert Cartwright Sr., Judy Butler and Henry Johnson.
