Tabitha and Derek Simpson of Elizabeth City announce the birth of their daughter, Kennedi Grace Simpson, at Albemarle Hospital on Aug. 27, 2009. She weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces and was 21 inches long.
The maternal grandparents are Terry and Deann Boyce of Elizabeth City.
The paternal grandparents are Jimmy and Rhonda Simpson of Elizabeth City.
The maternal great-grandparents are Glenda White, William (Nip) White and Mildred Ballance of Elizabeth City and the late Cary Ballance.
The paternal great-grandparents are Ronald and Nellie Mae Davis and Joyce Bundy of Elizabeth City.
