All men in this age group should conduct monthly self-exams, especially those who may be more prone to testicular cancer.

The following factors may increase your risk:

• You are a white male between the ages of 15 and 40.
• You have undescended or late-descended testes.
• There is a family history of testicular cancer.
• You've been diagnosed with inguinal hernia.
