Everyday for the last month or so, all we’ve heard about is the federal budget sequester, that the sky is falling, and that if $85 billion is not added to our debt, we will come to disaster.

Well folks, the sequester cuts that everyone talks about are not cuts at all but are a reduction in spending increases.

If you ask your boss for a raise of $10 and receive only $5, by Washington standards you’ve gotten a cut, when, in fact, you got an increase.

It’s time for us all to wake up to the Washington shenanigans and get the truth about the addictive spending by our politicians.

We want more and more for our hometowns and districts, so the politicians give us what we ask for in order for them to get re-elected.

Isn’t it always “promise them anything, and they will re-elect me?”

It’s always “the next election” and forget the cost, even if it ruins our children’s future and the country’s well-being.
