College to sponsor fireworks show

This spring, Roanoke Bible College will celebrate its 60th year with a bang.
As a way of showing thanks to the community, the college will host a professional fireworks display on the waterfront on April 4 around 9:15, just after a Friday evening service. The service begins 7:20 p.m. in the Chesson gymnasium of the Albert Blanton Campus Life Center.

The public is also invited to attend the college's annual Gospel Rally and Homecoming April 3-4. The event begins 7:20 p.m. on April 3 with a speech from Cam Huxford, senior Savannah Christian Church in Savannah, Ga. It continues the next day at 9:30 a.m. with a concert and presentations on the history of the college.
RBC was founded by George BonDurant in 1948 to provide training for future ministers. Part of the Restoration Movement, the college is supported by the Churches of Christ and Christian Churches. The college is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Association for Biblical Higher Education.
