The Hertford Police Department has confirmed that a shooting fatality occurred early Sunday morning.
Few details were available as of Sunday evening. However, Hertford Police Officer E. Priebe did say that a shooting fatality occurred at around 3:40 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of King Street and Stokes Drive.
The shooting is under investigation.
